Applications open for the second instalment of our 'jewellery // sculpture' exhibition series will be exhibited during VIENNA GALLERY WALK alongside the series of current works from the first round, see HERE for previous exhibition works and HERE for photos of the opening reception.

"There is only the fine thread of wearability that separates jewellery from sculpture and art, one made to adorn the body one made to adorn the space. Yet on its own a piece of jewellery can present as a miniature scale sculpture only when combined with body giving an exciting new perception."
Submission details.
Submissions can be a single work or series up to 5 works that present together, the work will be exhibited during the period at BACHT Showroom in Vienna's First District.
Submission fee is €60, artists will receive prompt reply if you have been selected or not, along with details on payment & shipping your items.
Materials and size of work is open, but fine and/or unusual materials will be favoured. Previously produced works or detailed sketches of work to be made both accepted, concept explained in mission statement should link to sculpture.
Please send email with 1-3 images of the work(s) or detailed technical drawing with material and execution outlined alongside a mission statement about the work approximately 200 words.
Works will be for sale during the period with 30% commission taken.
Selected Artists Receive
⁃ Opportunity to showcase and sell in affluent 1st District of Vienna; the area known as the most exclusive shopping district of Vienna.
⁃ Receive high resolution portrait of your work either as part of the portraiture series or in our event photos.
⁃ Inclusion in printed graphic material promoting the event and in store magazine showcasing artists.
⁃ Inclusion in exhibition launch event 12th September as part of VIENNA GALLERY WALK at the BACHT Vienna with drinks and event photographer.
⁃ The chance to sell in our online platform www.aa-collected.com
⁃ Being promoted across the social network platforms of both AA-Collected and BACHT Store.
Exhibition Details
Pieces will be exhibited during the period of September 2019 to November 2019, during September they will be exhibited gallery style on pedestals around the showroom and from October to November the jewellery will be displayed together in a 3m x 2m cabinet alongside printed magazine on the artists and works.
This is planned as a series of events.
