Designer run retail showroom for fashion & jewellery seeking full-time or part-time intern.
AA-Collected is a designer-run and independent design focused agency & concept store in Kreuzberg Berlin, with over 15 labels that span a variety of fashion products - from women and menswear to jewellery and object design. Our ethos lies in the belief that there should be a more direct connection from design to production to consumer and try to promote independent labels that are worth to see.
Our selection is focused on high quality design, often hand-made and produced locally, including men & women’s fashion, jewellery, art & home wares.
We are seeking an intern to assist with showroom tasks as well as individual designers. Tasks specialising in the areas of Press, sales & marketing include:
creating & sending newsletters to mailing list
creating & sending out press releases
assistance organising events, sending invites, securing sponsors, music etc
research & communication with new potential designers & artists
managing social media, facebook, instagram & instagram takeovers
assisting with seasonal editorial photo shoot
managing online store
managing website updates
assisting designers with individual press & sales tasks
coordinating gifting opportunities with press & bloggers
communicating with stylists for stock loans
Ideal skills include working with google drive & docs, indesign & photoshop and some interest in fashion and design but most important is enthusiasm to learn and be involved and strong organisational skills.
The position is UNPAID internship for 3 months full time or 6 months part-time. Train ticket covered.
