Kate creates unique limited edition and one off pieces of art jewellery which are inspired by and explore the micro world of lichens.
As well as using precious metals, Kate’s more recent work is created in base metals such as brass and steel and is exploring bold use of colour to further enhance the already striking natural forms. This comes from her desire to experiment and follow her artistic instincts, escaping into the creative world of her imagination to craft sculptural and colourful interpretations of nature rather than portraying authentic representations.
